Dr. Omar Vera is the lead dental implant surgeon at The Comprehensive Dental Group of Houston. He brings more than twenty years of international experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, supported by a strong record of success in full mouth reconstruction and advanced implant procedures. His training across Venezuela, Colombia, Spain, and the United States gives him a wide surgical perspective and a high level of technical precision.
Dr. Vera earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Boston University and completed a postdoctoral residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Pontifical Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. Over the course of his career, he has placed more than ten thousand dental implants and is known for handling cases that many clinicians consider too complex for traditional methods.
