If you’re ready to start your journey to a straighter, healthier smile, let us help you take the first step.
At The Comprehensive Dental Group of Houston, we offer a variety of braces options to suit your unique needs and preferences. Whether you’re looking for a traditional, reliable solution or a more discreet option, we have the right treatment for you. Explore the different types of braces available and find the perfect fit for your smile transformation.
Traditional metal braces are the most well-known and commonly used type of braces. These braces consist of high-quality stainless steel brackets and archwires that work together to gradually shift your teeth into proper alignment.
Traditional metal braces are highly customizable with options for colorful elastics, which can add a fun touch to your orthodontic treatment. The modern version of metal braces is more comfortable and less noticeable than ever before, and our team will ensure your experience is as smooth as possible.
For patients seeking a nearly invisible way to straighten their teeth, clear aligners are an excellent choice. These removable acrylic trays are designed to fit snugly over your teeth and gradually move them into alignment. Since they are clear, aligners are discreet and easy to wear without drawing attention.
The biggest advantage of clear aligners is their removability. You can take them out while eating, drinking, and brushing, making it easier to maintain good oral hygiene during treatment.
At The Comprehensive Dental Group, we offer Invisalign, one of the most popular brands of clear aligners, to help you get your ideal smile with minimal disruption to your lifestyle.
Braces offer a wide range of benefits that go beyond just improving the appearance of your smile. Here’s how orthodontic treatment can help you:
Ultimately, braces not only enhance the beauty of your smile but also improve the overall health and functionality of your teeth.
Braces are an effective treatment option for anyone who wants to improve the alignment of their teeth and smile. Ideal candidates for braces include:
During your consultation, The Comprehensive Dental Group of Houston will assess your oral health and discuss your goals to determine if braces are right for you.
Ready for your brandnew smile?
If you’re considering All-on-4 dental implants, it’s natural to have questions about the process. Let’s walk through each step so you know exactly what to expect.
Your journey starts with a detailed consultation. We’ll listen to your concerns and examine your oral health closely. Using advanced tools like CT scans and X-rays, we get a clear, 3D image of your jawbone. This helps us understand your unique needs and create a precise treatment plan.
On the day of the procedure, we’ll place four implants into your jawbone. These small titanium or zirconia posts are what hold your new teeth securely in place. We know surgery can feel overwhelming, but we’ll be with you every step of the way to make sure you’re relaxed. We also offer sedation dentistry, so you’ll feel calm and comfortable throughout the procedure.
Right after the surgery, we’ll either place a set of temporary or permanent teeth on the implants- depending on your treatment plan. If fitted with a temporary set, even if they aren’t your final set, they’ll look natural and allow you to eat and smile while your mouth heals. Healing takes at least 3-6 months, during which your implants will fuse with the jawbone, creating a strong foundation.
If your specialist recommends a temporary set, we’ll bring you back to fit your permanent teeth once your implants have fully healed. Once your implants have fully healed, they are custom-made to match the shape, size, and color that best suits you. The final result will look and feel just like natural teeth. We’ll make sure everything fits perfectly and feels comfortable.
We understand that the patients that entrust their smiles to us are being quite vulnerable to our care and our knowledge of general and cosmetic dentistry. We are humbled by their loyalty and make every effort to ensure our patients are treated like family and we build relationships through our outstanding dental and smile care.
We’d love to help you get the smile that you deserve!

Yes, you can eat most foods with braces, but it’s important to avoid certain hard or sticky foods that can damage your braces or get stuck in them. This includes foods like chewy candy, popcorn, and hard nuts.
We’ll provide you with specific guidelines on what to eat during your orthodontic treatment, helping you enjoy a variety of foods while protecting your braces and teeth.
Yes! If you’re concerned about the appearance of traditional metal braces, there are several options that are less noticeable. Invisalign clear aligners is a great alternative designed to blend in with your teeth, making them more discreet and less noticeable, especially during social interactions or professional settings.
No, there is no age limit for braces. While orthodontic treatment is most commonly associated with children and teenagers, adults can also benefit from braces. In fact, more and more adults are choosing orthodontic treatments to correct alignment issues and improve their smiles. Whether you’re 15 or 50, braces can help you achieve a healthier, more confident smile.
Yes, most patients will need to wear a retainer after completing their braces treatment. A retainer helps ensure that your teeth stay in their new positions after your braces are removed. The type of retainer you will need depends on your treatment plan, and we’ll provide detailed instructions on how long to wear your retainer and when to wear it.
